Three Best Friends.

I used rubbing plates, a sponge and acrylic paint to apply the backgroound.

Technique: Rubbing Plates - Texturing Paper for Collage and Mixed Media by Lisa Morales Mixed Media

I found that the technique didn't work as well as I expected, but I think it's due to the fact that my rubbing plates are not rough enough.

Inspiration: Altering the past by Deryn Mentock.

I created one 11" x 8 1/2 " Art Journal page.

White Gesso, Heart template, scissors, pencils, watercolor pencils, thin black marker, eraser, Modge Podge by Plaid, Black calligraphy pen, ink-pad, eye-shadow applicator foam brushes, tracing paper, cotton buds, baby oil, foam pads, etc.

TECHNIQUE:

EASILY BLEND COLORED PENCILS WITH BABY OIL.

C.P.M. Truter.

This is a photo of my Great Grandmother taken circa 1880.

It was restored and colorized by Restoring and Coloring Old Family Pictures, a Facebook group.

I have used this photo before restoration, you can see the post here.

I added Gold Ranger Ink – Perfect Pearls Mist, but its doesn't show up on the photos.

Some of the other supplies and Tools I used were: Chipboard letters. lace, acrylic paint, beads, wire, a charm, 3 d pop squares, adhesive, photo mounting squares, fabric die (to color the lace), sandpaper, paintbrush, ink, pliers, needle nose pliers, hot glue, glue gun, Pencil, eraser, ruler, scissors, etc. My inspiration was "Grandma Minnie" by Diana Twedt from the Legacy Inaugural edition, Autumn 2002 by Somerset Studio.

Wedding Portrait.

I scrap-booked one 12"x 12" page using the Pelser wedding photo, which I have used before. My inspirations was "Dream" by Susan Smit. Her Blog is Sussi Poppins.

Acrylic paint, Gem Studded flying critters by Forever in Time, pop dots, photo corners, Memories™ Mists -Pink Lemonade, glitter/glue, Smash Pen by K&Company, Patterned paper by Make it Special, card-stock, fabric flowers, ink-pad, Gold Embossing powder, eye-shadow applicators, a heat-gun, brads, sticker by Sticker King, etc.

The punch I used is in the upper right hand corner, left of the Butterfly punch.

Hint: Sharpen punches by punching through foil.
