We went camping for a week near Limestone mountain. Alberta. The first few days we had a heatwave and lots of wind, but the evenings were lovely. When it cooled down we had, rain, then hail and eventually snow.

Happy Autumn.

It started snowing yesterday afternoon and we are expecting 20 cm. more.
This was the view from our front door this morning.

The leaves have not fallen off the trees yet.

Our front door. We had no newspaper delivered today. 

Our flower baskets and strawberries are heavy with snow.

No more camping this year (maybe....).

I'm glad we have a four-wheel drive vehicle.

I suppose we will have to bring in the umbrella...

....and empty the fountain.

A  rope is tied to the tree to shake the tree (for snow to fall off the leaves so that the branches don't break from the weight).

If you look carefully you can see that it is still snowing.

About as bad as it gets.

It has been snowing since yesterday and the snow has to go somewhere.

It's a good thing that we have Landrover.

It was quite cold, but the dogs loved it.

It doesn't look like it, but the snow is quite deep.

Erik is a year old Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie hybrid a.k.a. “Blue Border Heeler”. 

I couldn't walk much further as the snow was too deep.

It is cleared of snow, but you can see the heaps of snow at the back.

 The buggies are difficult to push in the snow, but a bit easier on the sidewalk. They don't usually stand around like this, but this is about as bad as it gets in Calgary.
